David Goerzen is our senior pastor. Recently, David and Kathy celebrated 27 years of marriage and are most pleased with the fact that they have grown together over the years and have raised three great kids—Brooks, Megan, and Tyler—who have been the joy of their life. They both graduated from Bethany University in Santa Cruz, California. Kathy loves her job as an elementary school teacher in Parker.

Kathy grew up snow skiing in Colorado while living in Grand Junction; meanwhile, David became a baseball fan growing up near the ballpark in Lodi, California. They enjoy serving the Lord and His church. They also enjoy snow skiing, mountain biking, trout fishing, and camping in the Rocky Mountains.

David loves being a pastor. He has a passion to reach out to people of all walks of life, including those who have been bored or burned by their religious experience. One of his favorite passages in the Bible is Luke 15 and the story of the Prodigal Son.
