Brooks serves as the youth pastor for Charis Youth at Parker Christian Center (charis is the Greek word for “grace”). He enjoys seeing the “light turn on” for a student as he or she comes to a more complete understanding of who God is. He strives to help students develop a deep relationship with God and other students while enjoying the process. By receiving solid biblical instruction, experiencing God’s love, and developing meaningful relationships, students can thrive and be on their way to becoming the solid men and women of God that the church will be built upon for generations.
Brooks and Stacy have been married for three wonderful years. They were married in 2004 while they both were in the process of finishing college at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. Brooks received his degree in Biblical Literature while Stacy learned the nursing profession. Stacy currently works as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care at a hospital in the Denver area.
Both grew up in Colorado and Colorado is truly where their heart is. The time spent learning in Washington was formative, but the opportunity to live in beautiful Colorado close to family was too strong of a draw, so they came back. At home in Colorado, Brooks and Stacy enjoy all things outdoors: backpacking, off-roading, snowshoeing and snowboarding. Brooks is also pleased to follow the Colorado sports scene from a closer distance.
